Prison Break - Ridiculous But Awesome

Ok, so this week's episode of Prison Break (second of season two, for those who are counting) was a little too close to ridiculously unbelievable for comfort.  All along the show has required a pretty big suspension-of-disbelief quotient, but this one almost took the cake.  Hopefully they'll get it back on the trail to semi-normalcy soon, but here are some of the biggest things I found to be "oh come on" moments.

T-Bag gets his hand sewn back on by a vet, who gives him two aspirin and sends him on his way just fine and dandy.  T-Bag even has the time, presence of mind and ability to bleach his hair in the sink after undergoing major limb reconstruction surgery without any anesthesia.  Give me a break, how much you want to bet he's thumb wrestling and shuffling cards with that hand by the end of the season?

Michael and Lincoln stroll into the center of Chicago, into the very courthouse where Lincoln's SON is being held, and security is the same as usual if not more lax.  So, the two most wanted men in the country - a mastermind and the man sentenced to death for the vice president's brother's murder can just waltz in (ok, so it was through the elevator, but still) unnoticed, then still evade the cops even after a botched breakout attempt?

There were more, but those were the two biggest problems I had with the episode.  Looks like next week Lincoln's gunshot wound will be all taken care of by another one of Michael's magical gorgeous female friends who apparently all owe him mad favors.  How can I be this guy?

Even with all that in mind, I still can't freaking WAIT for next week.

Prison Break is an absolute mediocre TV series, with a totally absurd plot. Acting is rubbish, actions pretentious and poorly executed, and dialogs so lame. The show has no class, and simply cannot be compared to quality serials like 24, Lost, B.Galactica. Overall, Prison Break is a very bad TV serial. Only the intellectually very limited persons may like such mediocre and amateur show.

I appreciate the sentiment, but you lost me right there when you listed '24' as a "quality serial." Don't get me wrong, I like 24 as well and will be tuning in right with everyone when season six premieres next week, but if you're talking about 'Prison Break' with "Acting is rubbish, actions pretentious and poorly executed, and dialogs so lame"... well, I think you need to take a step back and look at '24' again, my friend.

Hell, I never said 'Prison Break' was a shining star - in fact the title of this post goes so far as to call it "ridiculous." The show has plenty of flaws, but I (and apparently a lot of others) still find it entertaining. And that's enough to make me watch - but then, I guess that's because I'm "intellectually very limited."

It has been officially stated that Prison Break is a mediocre and retarded TV nobody can argue now. The world's opinion says that this TV series is just garbage.
