OK...so where do we start with the new NBC game show, 'Deal or No Deal'...

Shall we begin with Howie Mandel, the apparently washed-up comedian who has descended to the ranks of cash-giveaway game show host stardom?

Should we kick things off with the horrendous portrayal of the 25 women dressed in their Victoria's Secret-like one-piece outfits -- all during the 8-9:00 p.m. "family" hour of primetime?

Or shall we just dig right into the obvious 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-like' duplications of the sound and lighting effects?

As you can see, there's much to criticize about the latest entry into the primetime game show race -- which, in case you didn't know, is already an international hit across over 35 other countries (according to NBC and Endemol USA, the company that created the show). And with NBC premiering the program this week every night at 8:00 p.m. (two more episodes tonight and Friday), there's plently of opportunity to take the show and station to task.

But....

I never thought I'd be saying this, but after watching the first three episodes, the contestants of this show have absolutely drawn me in! The mix of contestants have been pretty entertaining. Funny. Stressed out. Throwing caution to the wind at times. I've found myself screaming at the TV set the last couple of evenings, yelling at them to take the deal or telling them they are idiots for forging ahead and pressing their luck in search of the one million dollar prize.

In fact, with the exception of Jeopardy, I haven't been this entertained by a game show since the old 'Press Your Luck' game show hosted by the 'legendary' Peter Tomarken.

Anyway, if you TV junkies have not yet thought of tuning in, keep an open mind and take that remote tonight at 8 p.m. and flip over to NBC. You might be surprised.

never having been a game show enthusiast I was captivated by Deal or no Deal. Good job Howie. We need shows such as this for the whole family . Any age can enjoy, identify and sympathize with the contestants. Hope we will see more of this!

I just love this new show I can not imagine being on there it is nerve wacking just watching but i hope it comes back on real soon.

Deal or No Deal remains on the air! After the first week marathon on NBC, it switched over to CNBC weeknights in primetime.

It's January 24 and I can not find deal or no deal playing anywhere. Is it on this late in January? I certainly hope so. We love the program.

This has got to be the greatest games show ever envented. Gotta keep it going!!!!! What a thrill it is to watch. Good job Producers!!!!

Would someone please tell me how I can get on this show? I never thought that I would find myself sitting on the couch, and yelling at the people inside my TV 3 nights a week. I feel like a total sports enthusiast watching the superbowl and waiting to throw a penalty flag at my entertainment center. This show just totally sucked me in, and I must admit that Howie is a big part of it. I keep thinking he is going to break into "Bobby"!! haha Someone please tell me how to enter to be a contestant. HELP, IN ONE YEAR I RETIRE, I WOULD LIKE TO RETIRE IN MY OWN HOME. AT 64 I'VE NEVER OWNED A HOME OF MY OWN. MY HEART IS STRONG ENOUGH TO STAND THE EXCITMENT OF YOUR PROGRAM, AND BELIEVE ME IT IS TENSION FILLING. HOW DO YOU BECOME A CONTESTENT?

You are the most exciting host that I enjoyed watching on TV. You show enthusiasm and encouragement for all the contestantants. The girls are exciting to view because of their expressions and actions too. They are surprise each time they open a case. The tension is overwhelming at times. Time goes fast watching your program because it capitivates your interest. I would like to be a contestant. I don't ususally win anything but, with the help of my husband and sons -I can make a Deal!!

I would like to get on the show. I am a teacher of the handicapp and would like to help my students, especially one little girl with Cerebal Disorders and needs a new chair. Any suggestions?
