Underwhelming. Actually, it's Alice In Chains (main stage, August 5). Which is just... odd. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Alice In Chains. Or, rather, I loved them. You know, when Layne Staley was, like, alive. It's cool that Jerry Cantrell and the gang are getting together to play some shows, and cooler that they're doing it at Musikfest, but has their time of relevance passed?
Sure, "Get Born Again" was a good post-Staley tune, but I have to wonder what the rest of the music will be like without the deceased singer. Props to the Fest folk for at least trying, and I'll definitely want to catch the show. But like I said... does anyone really care?
