There seems to be some kind of strange obsession people have over David Hasselhoff.  They just can't get enough of his "antics."  Hell, even Judianne gets sucked in by it.  Personally, I just don't understand what it is about him that creates this irresistable allure.  The man is a buffoon, obviously, and gets off on any attention he can get, be it positive or negative.

I've heard all the excuses and reasons, but to me watching a terrible-sounding washed-up celebrity lip-synch his own recording while flying around in front of a blue-screen just isn't funny.  I'm all for cheezy fun, but "The Hoff" doesn't do it for me.

Attention-seeking media whores like Hasselhoff, Paris Hilton, Ann Coulter and Britney Spears, to name a scant few, thrive on this adoring attention.  And as much as people put forth "love-to-hate-'em" or "laughing-at-them-not-with-them" facades, it's pretty transparent.  We know you're obsessed, and no justification will change that.

Oh well, what do I know anyway? After all, I'm champing at the bit for Snakes On A Plane for chrissake.
