Captain Janks - the guy who did the prank phone calls on the Howard Stern show - was at our Party Crew event on Saturday at Hawthorne House (check out the photos). I was expecting him to be outrageous and fun and to perhaps do a few prank calls. Nope. He just stood around most of the time and got on the mic for a few minutes between songs to throw out Howard trivia and give away his CD. I found myself wishing that I knew the answers just to speed things up and get him back to standing in the corner. He'sjust another hanger-on trying to pass himeself off as a celebrity by association with Howard. It was a sad display - but the rest of the party was fun. Thank goodness he finally stopped.
